Thurrock Rugby Club was formed in 1928 and has a long history of producing England, premiership and county players. The Club provides rugby for approximately 250 children and 150 senior players and it relies on sponsorship to be able to provide rugby to those who may not be able to otherwise afford it.
“Thurrock RFC are a community club and would rather have the children there than not coming due to cost. The Academy for 13-18 year olds and the Little Acorns group for children between 3 and 6 are both free of charge, and depend on the generous support from our sponsors Surrey Steels.
